Orrett Music Academy is pleased to offer our popular Specialty Day Camps again this summer!
Join us for Kinder-Music Day Camp (ages 4-6) and Musical Theatre Day Camp (ages 6-12). We will be running both camps for two weeks only, July 8-12 & July 15-19, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with after care available Monday through Thursday until 5:00 PM.

General Info
Our Specialty Day Camps include 60% music / arts programming and 40% general programming*.
*Musical Theatre Camp – The 40% general programming includes activities to support the performance such as prop and costume designing.
Orrett Camps include a daily group stretch and a brief but effective camp-wide mindfulness exercise.
At Orrett, we pride ourselves in providing interactive activities and keeping screen time to a minimum. Unless screen time is required for educational purposes, Orrett camps have NO screen time during a typical day unless outdoor activities cannot take place due to inclement weather or a parent/camper declining to take part.
Weather-permitting, outdoor activities will be held at Tom Riley Park. All camp groups at Orrett walks to and from the park together for maximum safety and supervision. We cross Bloor St. at the lights at Gardenvale Rd. / Aberfoyle Cres.. You can view the walking route below:
(Ages 4-6) Max ratio will be 10:1.5 (leader plus part-time volunteer). Max ratio for outdoor activities is 10:1.
(Ages 6-12) Max ratio will be 15:1.5 (leader plus part-time volunteer). Max ratio for outdoor activities is 10:1.
Camp hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. (Optional after care until 5:00 PM is available at an additional cost).
The Musical Theatre Day Camp culminates in a mini-performance for parents & guests on the Friday at 4:00 PM. Estimated length of performance is 15 minutes.
Please pack a water bottle, nut-free lunch, and 2 snacks daily for your child, as well as sunscreen and any outdoor clothing they might need that day. All camp attendees will be loaned an Orrett Music Academy t-shirt to wear during outings to the park.
AFTER CARE DETAILS: After Care is available Monday through Thursday until 5:00 pm for $60/week. After Care is NOT AVAILABLE FRIDAY. Please note after care is supervised, unprogrammed play time.
REFUND POLICY: Withdrawal from camp may be done up to 30 days prior to the first day of camp, in which case all fees will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be provided with less than 30 days notice prior to the first day of camp.

Is your child the next triple threat that loves to be on stage? Do they have lots of personality and energy that could use a creative outlet? This is a popular music, acting, and dance camp culminating in a mini-performance on our stage! Fair warning, it fills up fast and is guaranteed to be lots of fun!

All the fun of a general arts day camp, but with a more music-focused experience! This camp is run by our Steps to Music teacher, Ms Jacquelyn, and includes lots of time with music activities and gentle exposure to musical instruments suitable for young children. It includes access to our popular Rainbow Room which is colourful and full of natural light! Come learn in a positive friendly environment that culminates in a mini-performance!
