What age groups can take voice lessons at Orrett Music Academy?
Orrett Music Academy offers voice lessons for ages 5 and up, catering to various developmental stages. For children ages 3-5, we have a specialized group class called Steps to Music which includes singing.
Do I need previous singing experience to take voice lessons at Orrett Music Academy?
No prior singing experience is needed to enroll in our voice lessons. We welcome both beginners and those with some background in singing.
What is the duration of each voice lesson at Orrett Music Academy?
At Orrett Music Academy, we offer individual voice lessons with durations of 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Most students choose 45 minutes because of the benefits of this session length, it is the perfect balance for your voice and instruction. With voice, you ARE the instrument, and our training approach includes both “building the instrument” and mastering its performance.
Are there group voice lessons available at Orrett Music Academy, in addition to individual sessions?
Orrett Music Academy offers both private voice lessons and group voice lessons, Pop Choir and Group Musical Theatre. Group lessons provide a dynamic and engaging learning environment, fostering a sense of community among students.
