WHAT DOES REGISTERING AT ORRETT MUSIC ACADEMY ENTAIL?
We are so excited for you to join our community!
Registering at Orrett Music Academy is a straightforward process designed to get you and/or your child started with confidence. It begins with filling out our online registration form, where you’ll provide basic information about the student, your scheduling preferences, and any specific goals or musical background. This form will require a deposit of $150 per private spot ($50 per group spot). This deposit comes off your fees for next year.
New students will also be required to pay a registration fee
Once we receive your form and deposit, our team will review it and personally select the best time and teacher based on your needs. From there, we’ll confirm scheduling and provide payment options by email and ensure all your questions are answered prior to your first lesson.
The goal is to make registration as smooth and personalized as possible—so you can focus on the music from day one.
HOW OFTEN ARE LESSONS?
One registration = one lesson per week
(Same day, time, and teacher)
Of course students are welcome to register for as many lessons per week as they wish!
HOW LONG AM I COMMITTED FOR?
Music lessons are generally taken for the entire school year (September to June) with mid year and end of year performances.
Having said that, commitment at Orrett is month to month and a student may leave as early as October 31st, 2025 if desired.
Summer lessons are optional.

ORRETT’S “LESSON GUARANTEE”
For your added peace of mind
If Orrett Music Academy is not able to honour your private lesson day & time request outlined in the form the $150/private lesson and/or $50/group lesson deposit as well as the registration fee (if applicable) will be refunded.
Also
If after their 1st lesson in September, a student is not completely satisfied with their instrument and/or teacher please contact us within 48h hours. At that time we will work with you to find an ideal solution for the student. If we are unable to do so, Orrett Music academy will provide a FULL refund of your deposit AND any lesson fees that have been charged to that point.
**To qualify for this guarantee, you must attend your first lesson in September**
WANT TO TAKE A TRIAL BEFORE COMMITTING TO LESSONS?
*Please note that over the summer there are no group classes and only about half of our private teachers are available.
